The procedure is virtually a painless solution; laser energy is delivered through a small hand piece that includes a comfortable cooling tip, continuously soothing the skin. With each quick pulse of the laser light, only a mild sensation will be felt, so no anesthesia is required during the treatment.
A laser hair treatment session will normally take 30 minutes or less, depending on the size of the area being treated. Six to eight separate treatments, based on a custom treatment plan, will be required to fully remove the hair growth.
Each session should be spaced about four weeks apart. Since only the hair in the active growth phase is effected by the laser, the repeat treatments are necessary to address every follicle.
