June 7th, Tuesday Walkthrough

Weather: Cloudy

Lunchtime

During today's Lunchtime, you will already be eating lunch with the team. As you're chowing down on the ramen, Yukiko digresses that the rainy season will be arriving soon. Once it starts, you'll have to keep a constant eye on the Midnight Channel.

Yosuke sighs, thinking that Yukiko was disappointed about the rain because of the school campout next week. Chie doesn't understand why Yosuke is so excited about it, but Yukiko points out that this is our first year going, since we're from the city. This supposedly isn't going to be a fun trip. You're supposed to "develop a love for your hometown," but doing so just involves picking up trash alongside the mountain. Now Yosuke's not too excited anymore.

Although it may not betoobad. During the nighttime, every student gets to cook their own meals via mess kits and sleep in tents with their friends! And according to Yukiko, the 4 of you are in the same group! Yosuke grows a wide grin on his face, wonderng what we could do together while we're all in the same tent... Chie instantly denies him, stating that guys and girls sleep in different tents. Plus, King Moron (Mr. Morooka) will be accompanying the class on the trip, and threatens to expel anyone who steps out of their tent, or falls a hair out of line.

Although the trip is rather short, Chie and Yukiko share some memories of their trip last year. You don't have to dotoo muchwork, and, you may get to go swimming in the river! That means Chie and Yukiko could go swimming too...

After School

As the conversation with your peers falls to an end, Mr. Morooka comes up and asks if you knew that this week was "Health Week." And it just so happens that you're not a part of the Student Health Association. In other words, you're a lazy bum! And Mr. Morooka hates good-for-nothing students like yourself, so he took the liberty of signing you up for the club to take the place of a sick member. Chie mumbles against King Moron, saying that what he did wasn't fair, but she gets ordered to shut up.

Back on the topic of forcing you into something, he stares you straight in the eyes, giving you one last chance to speak. Agreeing to do it will lead to a new Social Link and several stat bonuses, so choose"Fine, I'll do it."As soon as you respond, he commands you to head for the infirmary, since Mr. Morooka already told the club that you'd be there. Thanks, bud.

Working at the Infirmary

You arrive in a dingy, dusty, and frankly un-used room with 3 other students hanging out near the main desk. They ask if you've been hurt, but you fill them in on how you will be replacing the sick member for today. They looked relieved, and thank you for coming on such short notice. The female leader tells you that the group needs to go around the school, checking to see if anybody needs help, but someone needs to stay and watch this room. Your new job is to stay here, and pass along the messages that get delivered to you. There will only be 1 person that comes by, but you have to memorize what he says, and deliever it back to the other members when they return. In fact, here he comes now!

Kitao from Santo Pharmaceuticals has a few orders that he wants you to relay to the Student Health Association.Read what the person says carefully!He starts by telling you that the school placed an order for gauze, but he needs to know if the order can wait until the month after the next. He soon leaves, and the students return from their mission of healing.

They ask you if anyone showed up during their absence, and you tell them of the salesperson that arrived. They ask you if you remember his name... Do you remember? It's"Kitao from Santo Inc."They know that this must have something to do with the gauze order, but what did he say about it?"Can it come in 2 months?"The girl that listens to you contacts the infirmary teacher, and again relays the information to her. You gave the correct information! YourKnowledge & Expressionhave increased.

The other 3 medical students start telling everyone what they discovered on their trips around the school. The leader asks what happened in Group 1, and then realizes that the male went alone since "Konishi" isn't here.

That name should be ringing a bell... (Who was that girl that Yosuke was focused on? SakiKonishi.) Konishi-kun is Saki Konishi's brother. He was apart of the Student Health Association, but he isn't here today because he still feels too much remorse for the loss of his sister. The leader sighs and tells the male student that he'll just have to cover his part as well.

As soon as everything quiets down, another male student slides open the door and comes inside. He apologizes for being late. That's Konishi-kun. The other students reassure him that it's OK for being late, knowing that working at his parent's liquor store is hard work. (Yosuke discovered his Persona inside that abandoned Liquor Store...) He says that he doesn't want to be the only one not helping, so the girl offers to have him help you clean the room. The original 3 students will go report to the teacher, so Konishi-kun will stay and help you clean the room.

He introduces himself as "Konishi" and tells you that he's a grade below you. He recognizes that you of course know of his sister, Saki Konishi. He turns to you and asks if you're friends with Hanamura. (Yosuke Hanamura.) You don't get a chance to respond before he lashes out at you.

After that's off of his chest, (Thanks, dude) he asks for your permission to leave and go home. It may seem rude, but say,"No, help me clean."He looks down, saying that he has to help out at home. He sighs, looking on the brink of tears, complaining that his life is just a mess. You understand, right? Choose,"You can go after you help."He turns his back to you, but he winds up offering to clean the shelves. Looks like you got through to him.

You did your part for the Student Health Association. You go home after cleaning the infirmary.

Evening

Note: If you don't have a Magician Persona on hand right now, Fuse one tonight. It'll be helpful to have one tomorrow for the storyline.

Even though Nanako is available to advance, she will almost always be there. We need to go ahead and get deep into the Tower link, because it's hard to advance and the matching Arcana is rather hard to access. If you're not level 35 yet, and not able to Fuse a Tower Persona, don't worry. The Link is ready to advance, and you can get to level 35 by the time of the end of the next dungeon.

You went to the Tutoring Job. You'll appear in his house, already teaching him material. He asks a question about a specific formula, and you were able to explain it to him in an easy-to-understand manner. YourExpressionhas increased.

The tutoring session has apparently come to an end, because when the game fades back in, you're sitting down at the table with Shu's mother, with Shu still in his desk leaning towards you. Shu's mom boasts about her cheesecake, claiming that she bought it from a top-ranked online shop that's "all the rage" these days.

Again, he gives another "Mom!" but she ignores it once more. She turns to you, now wanting to talk about her son. She asks for your opinion: Do you think he could make it into Tokyo University? Shu doesn't say anything, but 2 exclamation points burst from his head, indicating that he's very much interested in the subject. His mom thinks that once he gets into a good college, he's "set," right? Besides, everyone has a natural talent, and Shu-chan's just happens to be how smart he is! (Give it a rest, lady...)

She just wants him to go to a good college so he can get a good job, and buy a good house, and find a good -- Shu cuts her off again, with another "Mom!" This one is a little bit more angry than embarrassed. Shu reassures his mom that he'll be fine in his life, and that he'll always be on top.

After a while, Shu's mother disappears into another room, leaving you and Shu to talk. He looks at you, straight in the eyes, and asks if he really is "set" if he gets into a good college. Any answer will yeild 0 FPs, so tell him the truth and say,"I don't think so."Shu sneers at you, saying that you haven't even been to college yet.

He cools down, and admits that he doesn't need to be "set" just yet. He doesn't even know what it means, either.

Well, Shu says he needs to get back to studying. No point in talking about college unless you're really smart! Although he doesn't turn to his books just yet. He looks down, and blankly stares at his feet. A moment passes before he straightens up, and utters something to you.

He then asks you if you know what that means. We'll give the right answer anyway, so choose, "Sure I do."He's surprised, but not too surprised since you're 3 grades above him.

He again shifts uncomfortably, needing to get something off of his chest. After a moment of silence, he says that he only has Mom, and the guys at school are all kids... Looks like he doesn't have a father... You felt that Shu has opened up to you, and you can understand his life a little better. The Social Link will now advance.

As the animation finishes, Shu notcies that we're already out of time, but we were still in the middle of that last quesiton... If you have enough Diligence, choose,"I'll stay and help you."He points out that there will be no overtime for doing this, but thanks you for offering.

He promises to talk to you the next time you visit. You earned 10,000 yen from your Tutoring Job, and went home, proceeding towards June 8th.
