They have gotten over 3 more tons of gold in a month… That’s big money. …..They are clearly preparing for the new commodity based world …and a world without the Petro Dollar. ... Be sure to watch, like and share his videos.

MZ: Many other countries are doing the same. Denmark reported they are aggregating gold in preparation for a new “Gold Standard” And our own Philadelphia Fed. Reserve did a paper on needing the gold standard a month or so ago. .

MZ: It was quiet overnight on the banking and historic bond side. Folks in Reno have anticipation for overnight Saturday night now.

Member: The bond people are really on a roller coaster. It’s every two days with them.

Member: How can the bond holders keep putting up with false promises for year after year without going insane. Jerked around with traveling for the completion of everything and then being sent home?

Member: Viet Nam stated they will be going to a market economy next month? It sounds interesting

First MyAccount ATM to be installed in Sulaimani

In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG), more than 25,000 civil servants received their April salaries via their MyAccount master cards, and the number is expected to grow for the May salary.

Kurdistan24 Reporter Aram Bakhtiar on Friday stated that the first set of ATMs will be installed outside the Sulaimani Municipality as part of the MyAccount project.

In the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRG), more than 25,000 civil servants received their April salaries via their MyAccount master cards, and the number is expected to grow for the May salary.

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on May 31, in a post on X called for Kurdistan Region civil servants to continue registering for the MyAccount initiative.

The government’s Department of Information Technology (DIT) designed, tested, piloted, and implemented a secure application for onboarding KRG civil servants into the program in line with the Central Bank of Iraq’s Know-Your-Customer (KYC) needs, according to a press release previously shared with Kurdistan24.

Eight banks have so far taken part in the project, including BBAC, Cihan, RT Bank, Bank of Baghdad, Iraqi Islamic Bank, National Bank of Iraq, Trade Bank of Iraq, and the International Development Bank.

The World Bank Expects Iraq's Economy To Grow In 2025

Posted On06-13-2024 By Sotaliraq The World Bank expects the Middle East and North Africa economy to grow by 2.8% in 2024 and 4.2% in 2025, due to the gradual increase in oil production and improved activity since the last quarter of 2024.

Expectations for 2024 are lower compared to what was expected in January, and this reflects the impact of extending oil production cuts on the ongoing conflict in the region, according to what the bank stated in its latest issue of the Global Economic Prospects report.

In Saudi Arabia, non-oil activities are expected to support growth rates in 2024, and the gradual resumption of oil activity is expected to lead to increased growth in 2025, according to the report.

In non-GCC oil exporting countries, the expected recovery in the oil sector in 2025 will help boost growth in Algeria and Iraq.

As for oil importing countries, the growth rate is expected to increase in 2024 to 2.9% and then to 4% annually in 2025-2026.

In Egypt, the growth rate is expected to increase due to investment growth, which was partially stimulated by the major deal concluded with the Emirates (Ras El Hekma), according to the report.

Growth is expected to remain stable in Jordan, although tourism-related activities will suffer in the short term.

In Tunisia, growth is expected to rebound, but activity in Djibouti and Morocco is expected to decline in 2024.

The economy of the West Bank and Gaza Strip is supposed to contract by at least another 6.5%, with the possibility of a contraction of up to 9.4%, in 2024.

In Syria and Yemen, the prospects appear not promising and shrouded in uncertainty due to the ongoing conflict, incidents of violence and internal unrest, and tensions in the Red Sea. LINK

Parliamentary Finance Identifies An “Important” Point That Hinders The Implementation Of The Budget

Money and business Economy News – Baghdad A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Moeen Al-Kadhimi, confirmed that the current year’s budget will be delayed as a result of the appeals submitted to the schedules, indicating the impossibility of implementing it without resolving all the submitted appeals.

Al-Kadhimi said, “The government was supposed to submit the budget schedules at the beginning of this year,” noting that “the delay in sending the schedules to Parliament is unjustified and has greatly affected the financial situation in the country.”

He added, “The government and the Ministry of Finance must send financial allocations to the governorates and ministries to begin implementing projects,” noting that “there is no reason to stop releasing financial allocations.”

Al-Kadhimi wondered “about the reasons for approving a tripartite budget if project funds will be stopped,” and thus this is a negligence attributed to the Ministry of Finance, adding that “projects of the Ministry of Education and Health and other state departments have stopped due to these errors in passing the general budget.”

He pointed out that “there is a parliamentary movement during this period in order to release financial allocations and develop solutions to the crisis so that it does not affect the work of the government and stop the wheel of reconstruction.” https://economy-news.net/content.php?id=44289

Retroactively... Filing A Lawsuit Against The Ministry Of Finance Over The 2023 Budget

Baghdad today – Maysan Maysan Council member Hussein Al-Maryani confirmed today, Thursday (June 13, 2024), that a lawsuit had been filed against the Ministry of Finance due to an article in the 2023 Budget Law.

Al-Maryani said in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “Article (2/First/5/B) of Budget Law No. (13) of 2023, which stipulates (when the selling price of one barrel of crude oil increases over the price fixed in the Budget Law) 30% of the increase in the price difference will be allocated to pay the late dues to the governorates.)

He added, “The price of a barrel of oil in the budget was $70, but the government sold oil at around $79, meaning there is an increase of up to $9 for each barrel, and the law is clear in its text about allocating 30% of the increase to pay the provinces’ dues.”

He pointed out that "30% of the provinces' dues, including Maysan, were not paid, which prompted us to file a lawsuit in the Federal Court against the Ministry of Finance for violating the text of the above-mentioned article to recover our rights."

The government set the price of a barrel of oil in the 2023 budget at $70, but it sold it for around $80, a price that was also fixed in the current year’s 2024 budget. LINK

Iraq And The United States Are Discussing Efforts To Form A Joint Business Council

Posted On06-13-2024 By Sotaliraq President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, discussed with US Ambassador Alina Romanski efforts to form a joint business council.

The Union of Iraqi Chambers stated in a statement that “Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi, President of the Union of Iraqi Chambers, received at the Union’s headquarters in Baghdad, the American Ambassador, Alina Romanski, and the two parties discussed strengthening trade and economic relations, and the intention to form a joint business council.”

Al-Zuhairi stressed, according to the statement, that “our relationship is balanced, with all countries that support Iraq’s approach to developing its economy, and we stand at the same distance from all countries for the good of Iraq.”

The statement indicated that, “During their meeting, the two parties reviewed the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, and the ambition to increase it to a level befitting the size of the relationship between Iraq and America, and discussed the prospects for cooperation and association with the Iraqi chambers of commerce, in order to expand the field of economic work and develop the work of the chambers of commerce.”

“In a way that enhances the economic partnership and opens the door to cooperation with the public and private sectors, pointing to the import and export sides and moving forward to enhance that.”

For her part, the ambassador stressed the need to overcome all difficulties regarding granting entry visas to investors and businessmen.

The two sides stressed the issue of mutual delegations in a way that meets the level of ambition, expressing their satisfaction in achieving the desire for joint cooperation at the level of commercial and economic work. LINK

5 Myths About Debt That Nobody Should Believe in 2024

If you’re an adult, chances are you have some kind of debt. More than three in five Americans (61%) are in credit card debt and owe an average of $5,875. Americans collectively have about 84 million mortgages totaling more than $12 trillion, according to LendingTree. The Education Data Initiative estimates that 43.2 million U.S. borrowers have federal student loan debt.

Those stats don’t even include car loans, personal loans, business loans, lines of credit and other sources of debt. Given how much debt Americans carry, you’d think they’d do a better job of separating myth from reality.

Sadly, that’s not the case. Many debt myths are still alive and well in 2024. Here’s a look at five myths nobody should believe anymore.

Myth No. 1: All Debt is Bad

On the contrary, debt can be a positive financial tool when used wisely. Unfortunately, debt carries a negative stigma with many people, according to Natalia Brown, Chief Compliance and Consumer Affairs Officer at National Debt Relief, a provider of debt settlement and relief services.

She says there are a lot of reasons this myth persists.

“We may have watched our parents or someone close to us have terrible experiences with debt, lack of overall financial education, believing credit is not easily accessed and not knowing the benefits of debt when leveraged appropriately,” she said in an email. “These stigmas are unfair, because debt can be leveraged in ways to grow wealth.”

As an example, Brown cites real estate investments, which let you earn income that can be used to pay down the mortgage while also building wealth.

One of National Debt Relief’s missions is to change negative stereotypes about debt. Since its founding in 2009, National Debt Relief has helped more than 550,000 people resolve more than $11.5 billion in debt.

Myth No. 2: Every Debt Lowers Your Credit Score

Debt doesn’t necessarily lower your credit score. In fact, taking on debt and managing it successfully can actually boost your credit score.

For one thing, you need to establish a credit history to get a score to begin with. From there, your score can improve based on things like the length of your credit history, your payment history and your credit utilization ratio.

Apparent Timing of the Global Currency Reset: Rumors/Opinions

On Sun. 9 June 2024 the White House was lit up in gold. Saudi Arabia dropped the
USD and ended the Petrodollar. With a Market Crash imminent, it was the Beginning of the End for collapse of the Global Financial System. RV funds for Bond Holders and Tier4b moved into position for payout.

On Wed. 12 June 2024 around 12 Noon EST a Worldwide Economic Collapse continued when Putin withdrew the US Dollar and the Euro from the Russian Stock Market.

It has been confirmed that the release of funds for currency swaps and historical asset swaps began after 12:00 a.m. on Tues. 11 June. These released funds will become liquid once the 800 holder numbers and emails are released.

Thurs. 13 June Mike Bara: “A source got a call from a high banking source at a major bank in the south. “You’ve been bugging me about this for ten years. Well, congratulations buddy. Your dream is about to come true.” SOURCE: “What do you mean?” BANKER: “We just got a letter from headquarters informing us to get ready because ‘The Iraqi Dinar is revaluing extremely soon.’”

Thurs. 13 June Rumor: A Middle East friend said, “Today the Dinar is worth $5.34 to the US Dollar.”

Thurs. 13 June 2024 Jentel Short, Jennifer Fallaw-Doering: When can we expect Notifications now? They are monitoring suspicious behavior in Reno, which could be a problem. They are also watching rates move on screens. Best estimate is today, tomorrow, or later if Reno is a problem. I see currency flowing from exchange centers into Reno and then sent back to countries of origin. Reno is important. Keep an eye on that. They can’t have terrorists interfering with that process. So, it’s still happening. These terrorist attempts are like flies buzzing around the picnic, but they want to make sure there are no wolves hiding in the bushes. Have a great day.

Many people may be under the impression that diligently saving money can make them rich. However, two self-made millionaires have a different opinion.

Barbara Corcoran, a real estate entrepreneur and star of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” is a firm believer that saving money doesn’t result in wealth.

“I’m just not a believer in saving money,” Corcoran explained to CNBC Make It. “I’ve never saved a dime my whole life.”

MB: Happy to be here and I want to say that this is not a rumor. I am not passing on a rumor.

MB: I know a guy, who knows a guy, who knows a guy. And the guy that I know that knows the guy that knows the other guy he said he got a call from a High corporate banking official from a major bank. And he said “You know that thing you have been bugging me about for the last 10 years?” ( and we all know what it is – it’s the RV) And the banker said “Well congratulations buddy- your dreams are about to come true!”

MB: The contact said ”Well, what do you mean?” And the banker said “We just got a memo today , a letter from headquarters informing us to Get Ready Right Now because the Iraqi dinar is revaluating extremely soon. Boom.

MZ: Revaluating? I thought this was important so I told Mike I had sat down with some bankers who wanted to run through scenarios with me and my currency and train some people. And that was the exact term they used in banking then.

MZ: It is going to revaluate;;…Its revaluating. That is the terms the banks use. They do not say RV or that it’s going to revalue. Its revaluating.

MB: Right – that’s a technical term . And I will tell you this, The contact I have – well he knows people that you all in Dinarland have heard of. He is not making this up and he did have this conversation with his friend at a major bank who has a high position in that bank…. That was This morning.. We are working on trying to get a copy of the actual memo. I don’t think we will be able to….but I told him he could redact parts or we would do it for him …we just want the essence of the communication. Just to show you that this isn’t made up.

MB: I don’t know how to evaluate the term “really soon” except to say I think it means in the next 2 or 3 days .We don’t know but, that’s what I think it means.

MB: Over in rumble my partner on my show “Real News live with Mike and Jen” Without knowing this story …she got in her jentel meditations today “ The next 2 or 3 days is the plan”

MB: We don’t need Iraq to have a public rate to go…We have talked about that. And yet we might get one at the same time as we go.

MB: Jen also got today that they are monitoring suspicious business in Reno …They are also watching rates move on screens …Best estimate is today or tomorrow, but later if Reno has a problem…..But currencies are flowing from exchange centers into Reno. . . then sent back to the countries of origin. That’s what she says.

MB After I told her the bank story today. Jen says it’s happening right now. Money is flowing. I am about as excited as I have ever been. I have to tell you again that my source is not lying about this…..He is not making it up. He got this phone all today.

MZ: Over the last 4-5 days I have received so many calls from people in banking who told me “You are right- they are telling us it is imminent and any moment. We should be seeing it soon- get yourself prepared“

MB: It sounds like the same types of memos are going out all over.

Member: Does this means Iraq is going sola?

MZ: I don’t believe that is what it means. too many banking contacts are talking about the zim , 2 other currencies we hold and the bolivar.

MB: I cannot really elaborate on this now…but I hope you have some.

Member: I have a contact in Missouri that has been contacted by a private banker with a Tier 1 bank. They told him to get prepared for the upcoming event.

MZ: So many of you guys who are unrelated…Don’t talk to each other and live in different areas are getting the same notices. And its very exciting when you share them with us.

Member: Mark, you said yesterday Zim is being aggregated by groups…what does that mean? Does that affect the Zim going with the dinar?

MZ: Different sellers and groups have put their Zim together and is being negotiated by a paymaster. It has nothing to do with it going the same time….or the timing.

Member: Does anyone have the Gov document about no taxes for the Iraqi Dinar?

Tishwash: Iran offers Iraq its contribution to the path of development

Iran offered the Iraqi government to participate in the strategic development path.

This came during a meeting between Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, today, Thursday, with Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri and his accompanying delegation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Sudani renewed his condolences for the incident that claimed the lives of the Iranian President, the Foreign Minister and their comrades, stressing that Iraq will continue its approach towards strengthening relations with the Islamic Republic and consolidating the foundations of constructive cooperation, in a way that achieves the interests of the two neighboring countries and the prosperity of their peoples, according to a statement from Al-Sudani’s office.

He added: "The meeting witnessed discussion of the regional and international situation, the developments of the aggression in Gaza and its tragic consequences on the humanitarian level, the brutal crimes committed by the occupation forces on a daily basis against the Palestinian people, and the necessity of serious efforts by the international community to stop the aggression and avoid the expansion of the conflict in the region."

It was also emphasized that the joint committees would continue to hold their meetings, and the actual implementation of the memorandums of understanding signed by the two countries in the sectors. Energy, security, education, transportation, and other vital economic fields.

For his part, Bagheri expressed his thanks to Iraq for its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the president’s plane accident. Tishwash: Mohammed Shukri: The Kurdistan Region can provide a suitable environment to attract investors

The Chairman of the Investment Authority in the Kurdistan Region, Dr. Muhammad Shukri, confirmed on Thursday, June 13, 2024, that the Kurdistan Region can provide a suitable environment to attract foreign investors.

Shoukry told Kurdistan 24: "The Board of Investment signed a cooperation agreement with the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank to benefit from expertise and technical support, strengthen the legal framework, facilitate investment procedures and effectively encourage the local and foreign sectors."

He added: "Through collective efforts with representatives of the institutions and ministries present, we can turn these visions into reality, because working together is the basis for an attractive environment for investment, promotes economic growth, and brings prosperity to the people of Kurdistan."

The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, confirmed at the end of last month that the Kurdistan Region is a stable and safe place for investment.

Masrour Barzani said, in a post on the X platform, after the opening of the Qatari consulate, Sunday, May 26, 2024, that "the opening of the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Erbil is a starting point for the further development of our relations.

He added: "The Kurdistan Region is a stable and safe place for investment."

"We call on Qatari investors and tell them that the regional government is ready to provide all facilities," he said.

"Last year, the first shipment of Kurdistan's agricultural exports arrived in the Qatari market."

The first supervisor of the expansion project, the Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, said, “The Italian company SGI will embark on the expansion project of the city of Mosul,” noting that “the company has a long history in this field,” adding that “its mission will be to reorganize the city in terms of services and economics.”
Al-Dakhil directed all security and service sectors in Nineveh to "cooperate to make this project a success in the planned manner to restore life to the city of Mosul after several years of destruction."

He also pointed out that "the expansion will add more than 160,000 dunams to the city of Mosul, which will be used for housing purposes and the establishment of green areas and malls," he said.

The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, signed a contract with the Italian engineering company SGI to start a long-stalled project to expand the city of Mosul. Al-Shammari said in press statements followed by Mawazine News, that “the development road project is a purely Iraqi idea,” noting that “invitations have been sent to all neighboring and Gulf countries to participate in the development road as an international crossing linking the East with the West.”

He added, "The cost of the development road is 17 billion dollars, and it is expected that the basic stages of the road will be opened within 5 years."

He pointed out that "the road passes through 10 governorates up to the Iraqi-Turkish border, from which it will be connected to the highway network in Turkey," pointing out that "the development road will connect the areas on both sides of it by 7 km on both sides of the road along the line (16,660,000 km) meters to Hawislat." Cities, factories, factories, warehouses, and investment projects that contribute to diversifying sources of income.”

He continued, "The development path is designed to build a (new Iraq) in western Iraq from Basra all the way to Nineveh."

Clare: Iraq signs a new financing agreement for Gulf connectivity

The Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadel, announced today, Thursday, the signing of the second financing agreement between the Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development.

The minister said in a statement received by Mawazine News Agency, after signing the agreement in the State of Kuwait, that “concluding this agreement is a strategic step towards enhancing the stability of the electrical network in southern Iraq, and represents fruitful cooperation between Iraq and the Gulf countries in the energy sector.”

Fadel praised "the efforts of the Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority in achieving this important achievement, which will contribute to improving energy efficiency and meeting the needs of our people." Iraq had concluded an agreement with the Gulf Interconnection Authority, to connect the southern Iraq network to the Gulf electricity network, with a length of (295) km, by extending overhead transmission lines with a voltage of (400) kilovolts from the Wafra station in the State of Kuwait, to the Al-Faw station in the far south of Iraq.

And providing it with a capacity of up to (500) megawatts in the first phase, and (2000) megawatts in the second phase. LINK
